February 2025 Market Highlights
- Home sales in Kansas fell 4.4% in February 2025 compared to the same period last year. National sales fell with sales falling 1.2% over 2024.
- Home prices continue to increase across the state. The statewide average sale price in February was $310,281 a 6.3% increase compared to last year. Midwest prices rose 5.8% and US prices rose by 3.8%.
- Mortgage rates decreased slightly. The national average commitment rate on 30-year conventional mortgage for the week ending March 14, 2025 was 6.67%. View Freddie Mac’s report.
