KAR is pleased to announce Darren Beckham has joined the KAR Staff as Public Policy Field Director. Darren is a graduate and former student body president of Wichita State University, where he earned Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and International Area Studies. He earned another Bachelor’s in Philosophy at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary before returning home to Kansas. Darren has five-years’ experience working in the Kansas Senate; his last role was chief of staff to the Senate Vice President.
Darren will work with the Opportunities Advisory Board to further develop the statewide political coordinator program; identify NAR programs and grants for local associations to use in their community outreach and economic development efforts, and serve as a staff resource for RPAC, governmental affairs and advocacy efforts.
