Two weeks after the applications opened, the Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loans funds were exhausted. The US Senate has taken action to replenish the funds to offer aid to more businesses.

Due to concerns related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) the Kansas Legislature will not return April 27. The Legislative Coordinating Council (LCC) will hold another meeting on or before May 6 to determine when (or if) the Legislature will come back before the official end of the session that occurs on May 21.
