Warning Signs:

If Title Fraud is Suspected:
- Advise clients to report the issue to their county recorder's office
- Contact the title insurance provider, if applicable
- File a complaint with the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3)
- Consult a real estate attorney promptly
Encourage clients to regularly monitor their property's status and to be vigilant about any unusual activity related to their home.
