This week, Kansas REALTORS® hosted Capitol Day at the Statehouse, bringing members together to advocate for housing and homeownership issues that impact communities across Kansas. The day included meetings with legislators, a REALTOR® Rally featuring Governor Laura Kelly, Senate President Ty Masterson, Senate Minority Leader Dinah Sykes, House Minority Leader Brandon Woodard, Speaker of the House Dan Hawkins, and NAR Regional Vice President Nate Johnson, as well as time in the Senate chamber to see the legislative process in action. Capitol Day concluded with the Legislative Reception at The Beacon, where members and elected officials continued conversations and strengthened relationships that support REALTOR® advocacy year-round.
