Kansas REALTORS® are continuing efforts to address one of the state’s biggest challenges, housing supply, through the Trade School Scholarship Program.
By supporting students pursuing careers in skilled trades, this program helps grow the workforce needed to build and maintain homes across Kansas. From carpentry and construction management to electrical, HVAC, and plumbing, these careers play a critical role in increasing housing availability and strengthening communities.
The Kansas REALTORS® Trade School Scholarship provides $1,000 awards to eligible students, helping reduce financial barriers and encourage more Kansans to enter these high demand fields.
Eligible applicants include graduating high school seniors, or the equivalent, as well as current students enrolled in an accredited trade or technical program in Kansas or a neighboring state.
Applications are open now and due by June 1, 2026. Recipients will be announced July 1.
As a Kansas REALTOR®, you see firsthand the impact of limited housing inventory. This is one way we are working toward long term solutions by investing in the people who will help build Kansas’ future housing supply.
