Kansas REALTORS® is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 Trade School Scholarship, an initiative designed to strengthen Kansas' housing industry by investing in the skilled trades workforce.

A strong housing market depends on more than buying and selling homes. Electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, carpenters, and other skilled professionals are essential to building new homes, maintaining existing properties, and ensuring Kansas families have safe, quality places to live. Through this scholarship program, Kansas REALTORS® is helping encourage the next generation to pursue these in-demand careers.

This year, Kansas REALTORS® awarded scholarships to several deserving students across the state who are preparing for careers in the skilled trades. Among the recipients are Owen Cook, who will study HVAC and Electrical Technology at Neosho County Community College, and Canyn Taylor, who will study Electrical Technology at Fort Hays Tech North Central while continuing to gain hands-on experience with a local electrical company.

By supporting students entering these essential professions, Kansas REALTORS® is investing in the long-term health of Kansas communities and the housing industry. A strong pipeline of skilled trades professionals helps address workforce needs, supports homeowners and property owners, and contributes to a more resilient housing market for years to come.

Kansas REALTORS® congratulates all of the 2026 Trade School Scholarship recipients and looks forward to seeing the positive impact they will make in communities across Kansas.
