Kansas REALTORS® have an important leadership opportunity available. Andrew Mall, the NAR Federal Political Coordinator for U.S. Representative Sharice Davids in the 3rd Congressional District, will soon step down from his role. We sincerely thank Andrew for his service and dedication to strengthening the relationship between REALTORS® and our federal lawmakers.
Andrew has shared that he is willing to continue serving until a replacement is selected to ensure a smooth transition, particularly during upcoming legislative activities. His commitment has helped ensure Kansas REALTORS® remain engaged and represented at key meetings and advocacy events.
Now is the time for another REALTOR® leader to step forward.
What Is an FPC and Why Does It Matter
A Federal Political Coordinator, or FPC, serves as the primary liaison between REALTORS® and a member of Congress. FPCs build relationships with federal lawmakers, attend meetings, communicate REALTOR® priorities, and help connect elected officials with the real estate professionals in their districts.
These relationships are not symbolic. Legislators often emphasize how important trusted local contacts are when they are considering policy decisions. FPCs help ensure that the REALTOR® voice is heard on issues that directly impact property rights, housing supply, taxation, and the real estate industry.
Serving as an FPC is a meaningful way to connect the dots between RPAC investment and real advocacy work. It strengthens our influence, deepens relationships, and reinforces the role REALTORS® play in shaping housing policy.
A Great Opportunity for Kansas REALTORS® and KCRAR
This vacancy in the 3rd Congressional District presents an opportunity to further strengthen engagement, especially with our partners at KCRAR. Increased coordination and visibility will help amplify the important advocacy work happening at both the state and federal levels.
